(Interviews begin July 10th, 2023) AmeriCorps AmeriCorps members commit to serving kids & teens daily at 1 of our Club locations, dedicating 300
hours of service to improving the lives of youth and strengthening their communities.
Members are trained to lead and mentor youth, helping them to achieve academic success and explore learning in Art, STEM, Fitness & More! Service Dates:
August 2nd, 2023 - December 19th, 2023 Benefits Gain valuable Personal & Professional skills to use in whatever you choose to do next:
Mentorship skills Leadership skills Coaching skills Living Allowance - up to $2,600 total - receive a bi-weekly living allowance Segal Education Award - $1,459 - receive money to use for college or trades, or repaying qualified student loans (only received after successfully completing the term of service) Living Allowance & Education Award amounts are subject to change Additional Scholarship Opportunity available to SLCC students Service Requirements:
Mandatory Training - August 2nd& 3rd followed by club site specific trainings at discretion of Club Director Serve a minimum of 300 hours AND complete the Full Service Term Serve daily 2:
30-7PM, M-F during afterschool program (August-December) Attend at least 1 Service Project Schedule is dependent on school calendar and will be discussed during interview Eligibility Must be at least 18 years old U.
