The CHRISTUS Ochsner Health Float Pool is established to provide supplemental staffing to the SWLA Ministry while providing excellent patient careFloat Pool Associates will receive an elevated compensation rate and are required to comply with all CHRISTUS policies, procedures, and patient care standardsThere is no guarantee, expressed or implied, that Associate will receive any set amount of hours to work each week.
Required 4 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical.
Requirements:
Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalentCurrent RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of LouisianaAmerican Heart Association BLS - within two (2) weeks of employmentRequired 4 years of RN experience in Medical SurgicalCurrent ACLS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNsCurrent PALS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNsCurrent TNCC and ENPC certification within 12 months of hire for experienced RNsCurrent NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNsArrhythmia recognition within 8 weeks of hireCurrent de-escalation training or completion within 90 days of employment with annual recertificationModerate Sedation within 3 months of hire for experienced RNsSpecial weekend and holiday requirements that will be discussed at time of interviewWork Type:
