We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee some of the most challenging and complex bridge and piling projects in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with a particular focus on bridge construction and pile driving.
This role demands a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1.
Overseeing all aspects of bridge construction projects from inception to completion.
2.
Developing detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
3.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
4.
Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5.
Managing and mitigating project risks and issues, and resolving any problems that arise.
6.
Ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
7.
Preparing and presenting regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
8.
Coordinating with various internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution.
9.
Continually reviewing and improving project management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, particularly in bridge construction and pile driving.
2.
A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3.
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
4.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
5.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
6.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
7.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8.
Proficiency in project management software and other relevant IT systems.
9.
A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel as required.
