Summary:
Plan production schedules and monitor inventory.
Responsibilities:
Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules. Coordinate and prepare inventory based on shop spool lists and work orders. Performs various production control activities including gathering and filing records, reporting on use of materials, monitoring customer orders, posting production schedules, and calculating production rates.
Qualifications/Competencies/
Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or its a equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager and may supervise non-exempt employees. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
