CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking exceptional individuals who can provide expertise in the procurement field that will support our ongoing operations at the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex, the sixth largest refinery in the nation.
This position provides warehousing support for all CITGO warehouses providing care, control, and custody of material for CITGO's Lake Charles facility as needed. Excellent communication skills are required to maintain daily interface with refinery personnel, delivery personnel, and vendors. Applicants must possess a minimum of four years of experience in Materials Control (Industrial Warehouse Environment) with experience in shipping and receiving and issuing of materials, stocking, inventory control, and handling associated documentation. Applicants must maintain a streamline workflow while performing good housekeeping practices. Regular working hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Overtime, occasional shift work and response to callouts may be required.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years experience in the following:
Materials Control (Industrial Warehouse Environment)
Shipping and receiving and isssuing of materials, stocking, inventory control, and handling associated documentation
Knowledge of pipe, valves and fittings
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Computer skills: familiar with Microsoft Office software
SAP (Materials Management) preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Material knowledge related to Refinery/Industrial preferred
Valid driver's license
The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card.
