Express Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for an experienced IN-PLANT SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER for a great, local business in Lake Charles, LA.
IN-PLANT SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER:
Working on site at the client's facility participating on engineering projects from original concept to field follow-up. This includes working with other members of the on site Design/Engineering Team as well as other on site discipline groups within the facility.
Responsibilities:
Working knowledge with oil/gas production and utility systems.
Abilities to provide detailed project design from conception through completion.
Provide development of P&ID's, construction plans, equipment layouts, plot plans, piping routings, pipe support design, piping isometrics, field mapping, and system schematics.
Working knowledge of related design disciplines, work within piping codes and standards, piping specifications and regulations.
Industrial knowledge of operations, environment requirements, and safety in design standards.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
self motivated
Capable to handle multiple projects at different phases
work well with diverse discipline groups
must have good communication and coordination skills
Ability to check and review drawings; field walk down of pipelines, plants and facilities, verification of design and drawings.
Field surveying
Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in piping design.
Auto CAD experience is required
Experience with oil/gas production and utility systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
